Seeking a quiet, scenic spot for your caravan, motorhome, or campervan? Our small Touring Paddock offers just three grass pitches, providing a calm and uncrowded base for your coastal break in North Essex.
We’re proud to be a Certified Site (CS) affiliated with The Camping and Caravanning Club, welcoming members looking for a serene, well-kept place to rest and recharge. We have two pitches with electric hook up and one without.
Just a short stroll from the seawall footpath, you’ll discover expansive views across the marshes to the river estuaries, Mersea Island, and Bradwell-on-Sea. Perfectly placed for exploring North Essex and the East Coast, Lee Wick Farm is less than two hours from London, just 30 minutes from the Port of Harwich, and a short drive from Colchester – making it an easy, peaceful escape to the coast.

The Secret Garden – North Essex
Tucked away on our peaceful coastal farm, The Secret Garden offers a secluded camping experience in North Essex, near Colchester — just under two hours from London and 30 minutes from the Port of Harwich.
This tranquil spot features three spacious pitches, making it perfect for small groups or families who want to enjoy the countryside together. Each pitch comes with its own chiminea and brick-built BBQ, while guests share exclusive access to our quirky converted horse trailer, which houses two toilets and showers for added comfort.
Guests also enjoy direct access from the Secret Garden to the footpath along the seawall, where sweeping views of the magical marshes and river estuaries can be savoured. Whether you book one pitch or all three, The Secret Garden is an ideal escape for groups seeking a quiet, countryside retreat with a hint of coastal magic.
