The Cart Lodge is a converted farm building at Lee Wick Farm, the farm is part of the family business of Roy Clarke and his son Robert. The farm specialises in growing around 180 acres of potatoes plus a small acreage of cereals. However, over the years the need to diversify has resulted in the development of a fishing club, stabling for around 18 horses and now holiday cottages. The farm office is located at the top of the lane where you will often find Robert ensconced behind his desk involved in the family’s other business activity of ‘Potato Merchant’. Farming is the mainstay for the family but now augmented by numerous other activities, if you’re enjoying your holiday at Lee Wick Farm, come and say hello and collect a free sample of spuds!
